
I am licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Maryland and hold certification from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) as well. I obtained my undergraduate Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at James Madison University in 1999 followed by my Master of Arts Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Maryland in 2001. My internships included the Hospital for Sick Children in D.C., the University of Maryland Clinic, Frederick County Public Schools, and Loudoun Hospital. My work experiences have included working in pediatric home health, with Frederick Memorial Hospital, and with Frederick County Public Schools. I specialize in pediatrics and my scope of practice includes Speech-Language Disorders such as Developmental Delays, Craniofacial Disorders (i.e. Cleft Palate), Fluency Disorders, Language Processing/Learning Disabilities, Articulation and Language Delays and Disorders, Apraxia, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Neurological Disorders (i.e. Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Seizures).
