Tom is a Counseling Intern completing a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling. He earned a B.A. in Psychology in 1981. He then earned a B.S. in Computer Science in 1985, with which he embarked on a long career as an engineer and manager within numerous corporations. His passion for helping others through counseling is part of a life transition plan that he began in 2006.

Tom has been married for over 28 years and has 4 grown children. He brings to his clients a wealth of life experience as a husband, parent, and as one who has experienced many of the same issues with which they are burdened. He takes a systematic approach towards counseling as he works together with his clients to define issues and then applies appropriate methods to help alleviate them.

Tom has special interest in the areas of managing depression and anxiety; working through life-stage transitions, such as those faced by adolescents and mid-lifers; and in helping men process their unique life issues.
